Bike and Hike

TWO WHEELS & HIKING BOOTS

Bike & Hike – this is the name of a sporty combination of mountain biking and hiking. First, you hit the mountains by bike in a fast and environmentally-friendly way. Then you continue on foot once you reach steeper terrain. The hiking paths and trails lead to picturesque high-alpine valleys or peaks with stunning panoramic views. A wide selection of mountain huts and alpine restaurants await along the way for a rewarding break during your Bike & Hike tour, either during the ascent or the descent. The journey back down into the valley from the bike parking area is a lot easier: simply sit on your bike and cruise.

Tip: Many mountain lodges huts offer bike parking: If not, but if not, please lock up your bike in a suitable location. Please also respect and show consideration for the alpine economy and forestry work. If you're not sure of anything, just ask the cabin hostsstaff at the hut or other mountaineers users for advice.
