The Noaflhaus in Telfs is a historical building and home to a local history museum and a carnival museum, as well as a chronicler's library and the Noaflsaal events room.

The objects displayed in the local history museum on the second floor show the history of Telfs and include archaeological finds from the Bronze Age Urnfield culture right through to the Bavarian aristocrats of the Middle Ages.

The first floor, on the other hand, is dedicated to one of the region's major events – the carnival celebrations held in Telfs. The museum is modern and features multimedia exhibits that allow visitors to wonder at many different customs and experience the excitement of various carnival characters such as the "wild men", the bears and the Beasn Buam. The varying hats worn by the Schleicher characters show how vibrant and topical the custom remains. The carnival celebrations are only held every 5 years and attract thousands of people from near and far.

Admission to the museums and exhibitions is free.
