De mountainbikeroute Alplhaus beginnen wij bij de wandelparkeerplaats Wildermieming. Vanaf daar rijdt u licht stijgend in noordelijke richting. Na ca. 3 kilometer wordt de mountainbikeroute iets steiler (ca. 12%) en strekt zich zo min of meer gelijkmatig uit tot het Strassberghaus. Vanaf daar wordt de weg steeds slechter en steiler (tot 25%).
