El trail Stadtwaldtrail es ideal para principiantes. El punto de salida es el camino Wilhelm Greil Weg al lado de viaducto del funicular Hungerburgbahn, a unos 790 metros de altitud. En este punto el trail se junta con el Arzler Alm Trail y existe la posibilidad de escoger entre uno de los dos recorridos. El trail Stadtwaldtrail transcurre paralelo al Arzler Alm Trail hasta llegar a la pista forestal “Waldweg Hungerburg”. Aquí los corredores pueden escoger de nuevo entre seguir por uno de los dos trails.
Subiendo por la pista forestal se inicia el primer tramo del trail Stadtwaldtrail.
Este trail ofrece a principiantes y expertos la posibilidad de familiarizarse y/o perfeccionar la técnica. Para los más expertos hay numerosos saltos y obstáculos, que los principiantes pueden evitar sin problemas dando un rodeo o moderando su velocidad.
