El camino sale del aparcamiento de la telecabina hasta la estación inferior de los teleféricos Oberperfuss, luego sube suavemente unos seis quilómetros a través del bosque hasta Stiglreith. Este tramo se puede hacer con la telecabina si se quiere evitar la subida. Aviso para senderistas: durante el invierno, esta ruta es también pista de trineo. Mucho cuidado con los trineos que bajan por la pista.
