Salir del centro de Igls dirección sur por la calle Bilgeristrasse, luego por el camino Heiligwasserweg. Cruzar la carretera y continuar hasta la capilla Schwellerkapelle y la estación inferior del teleférico Patscherkofel antes de iniciar la subida a Heiligwasser (1.238 m).
El camino de vuelta lleva desde la iglesia de peregrinación Heiligwasser dirección a Patsch. Tomar el desvío a la derecha al hotel Grünwalderhof y continuar por los caminos Rosengartenweg y Gletscherblickweg hasta Igls.
