El refugio Hochfelder Alm está situado a 1.750 metros de altitud entre Leutasch y Ehrwald. Aquí sirven cada día leche fresca, mantequilla y el queso “Tiroler Graukäse” (queso gris de Tirol). La ruta para llegar al refugio transcurre por el pintoresco valle Gaistal y no presenta dificultades. La fantástica terraza de Hochfeldern Alm permite disfrutar de unas grandes vistas sobre la cordillera Mieminger Kette y las montañas de Karwendel.
