Opening Hours

Van Witte Donderdag tot Hemelvaart is het heilige graf in de parochiekerk Heilige Peter & Paul in Telfs te bezichtigen.

Het graf dat vijf meter en 30 cm hoog is, stamt uit halverwege de 18e eeuw en werd door de Schwazer barokschilder Christoph Anton Mayr geschilderd. Het kon in 1984 door een anonieme donateur voor de dekanaats-parochiekerk worden aangekocht. Het heilige graf bestaat - in tegenstelling tot andere Tiroolse heilige graven - uitsluitend uit bij elkaar gelijmde planken van alpendennenhout.
