Route naar het startpunt
Een afwisselende ronde verbindt de Stöttlalm boven de golfbaan Mieming met het restaurant Moosalm in Barwies. De licht stijgende winterwandelroute verloopt vanaf de parkeerplaats Lehnbach in Obermieming tot aan de Stöttlalm. Hier kunt u een eerste kleine pauze inlassen en op zonnige dagen ook in de winter op het terras van het uitzicht rondom op het plateau en de Stubaier Alpen genieten.
Aansluitend volgt u de winterwandelroute naar links, steekt de Lehnbeek over en volgt de bosweg over de nieuwe Stöttlalmbrug richting Moosalm. Na een wat langer stuk door het bos met een kinderspeelplaats bereikt u het weidse landschap van de Mooswiesen. Een gewalste weg voert door de met sneeuw bedekte Mooswiesen. U wandelt langs oude schuren tot aan de volgende pauzegelegenheid, het restaurant Moosalm. Onderweg ziet u hoe langlaufers hun rondes door het uitgestrekte net van loipes trekken.
Het gaat dan terug door hetzelfde bosgedeelte naar Obermieming. Na het verlaten van het bosgedeelte volgt u de bosweg nu rechts naar de bebouwing en terug naar de parkeerplaats.
