The Freeride Film Festival (FFF) is coming to the Metropol Cinema in Innsbruck. For its 17th edition, the FFF will be screening six new freeride films under the theme ‘Between Control and Devotion’. The focus is on freeriding in all its facets: from a Swiss professional snowboarder searching for her connection to the frozen world (“Yin”) to the freeride spots of a Norwegian fjord village with just 17 residents (“Ferryland”), and a professional snowboarder’s retrospective on his career, spanning world championship titles and hard crashes (“Uncle Timmy”). Also featured are “Inside Circles”, “Kodo 呼動” and “75 Seconds”. Once again, the FFF bridges the gap between visually poetic arthouse productions, documentary authenticity and classic big-mountain action. Hosted live, the FFF Prime Tour presents the films on the big screen – including interviews with filmmakers and athletes. On site, you can also look forward to a Festival Village and the Risk’n’Fun Safety Workshop.
