Forecast

The cold front over our region is only moving on slowly! It will still influence our weather today, especially between the morning and the early afternoon with frequent showers as well as local thunderstorms.

Tendency

This unsettled weather will be only short-lived! On Wednesday a weak ridge of high pressure will bring sunny spells and warmer temperatures.

Unfortunately, this high will also be only short-lived and the next cold front will arrive here on Thursday.

FAQs – THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Where can I buy the Innsbruck Card?

The Innsbruck Card can be purchased directly via the online shop, as well as in Tourist Information centres, at hotel receptions, in larger museums and at Innsbruck Airport (Tabak Trafik).

WHERE CAN I FIND INFORMATION ABOUT THE VARIOUS ATTRACTIONS?

Information about the attractions and benefits of the card can be found in our Innsbruck Card brochure and on the website for each attraction. Due to the current situation with Covid-19, information may vary (opening hours and closing times).

DO I NEED TO VALIDATE THE INNSBRUCK CARD AT EACH INDIVIDUAL ATTRACTION?

You need to take your Innsbruck Card to the ticket desk of the attraction you are visiting. On presentation of the Innsbruck Card, you will be given an entry ticket. Direct access with the Innsbruck Card is only possible at the following attractions: the Alpine Zoo, the Innsbrucker Nordkettenbahnen lifts, the Patscherkofelbahn gondola and Swarovski Crystal Worlds. Please note: direct access may be restricted due to the situation with Covid-19.

WHAT PUBLIC TRANSPORT CAN I USE WITH THE INNSBRUCK CARD?

The Innsbruck Card entitles you to free transport on buses and trams operated by the IVB (Innsbrucker Verkehrsbetriebe) in the centre of Innsbruck, as well as the following bus lines between Innsbruck and Hall in Tirol: 501, 503, 504, 4123, 4125, 4169, 8380. DO I NEED TO STAMP THE INNSBRUCK CARD FOR IT TO BE VALID ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT?

The Innsbruck Card is valid as a ticket for public transport. It must be presented if tickets are checked. Please always have your Innsbruck Card to hand when using public transport. On the Sightseer hop-on hop-off bus, the Innsbruck Card is validated directly with the driver.

HOW OFTEN CAN I USE THE SERVICES INCLUDED WITH THE INNSBRUCK CARD?

Each attraction can be used once. The only exceptions are for the Sightseer hop-on hop-off bus and public transport – these services can be used for as long as the card is valid.

DO THE 24, 48 OR 72 HOURS ALL NEED TO BE USED IN ONE GO?

Yes, the card is valid for one continuous 24, 48 or 72-hour period. The days and/or hours cannot be split.

DID YOU KNOW?

THE INNSBRUCK CARD IS VALID FROM THE FIRST MOMENT IT IS USED. IT REMAINS VALID FOR THE EXACT TIME PERIOD STATED, I.E. 24, 48 OR 72 HOURS. THIS APPLIES REGARDLESS OF WHAT TIME OF DAY THE CARD IS FIRST USED. FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOU USE THE CARD FOR THE FIRST TIME AT NOON, ALL OF THE OPTIONS ARE STILL OPEN TO YOU THE FOLLOWING MORNING.
