Vanaf de parkeerplaats gaat u in oostelijke richting op een goed bewegwijzerde bosweg onafgebroken bergopwaarts richting Straßberghaus. Na een korte wandeltijd passeert u de in het bos verstopte Sagkapel. Het gaat verder door het pijnbomenbos. Boven aangekomen wandelt u langs een slagboom. Na enkele meters bergafwaarts bereikt u het Straßberghaus in een idyllische dalketel van de Mieminger keten.
