Wandelen met familie, met zijn tweetjes of alleen, over een lange afstand of kort, naar het kruis op de top of ontspannen zonder veel stijging. Zoek de voor u geschikte wandeling rondom Innsbruck uit. Vanaf de parkeerplaats gaat u in oostelijke richting op een goed bewegwijzerde bosweg onafgebroken bergopwaarts richting Straßberghaus. Na een korte wandeltijd passeert u de in het bos verstopte Sagkapel. Het gaat verder door het pijnbomenbos. Boven aangekomen wandelt u langs een slagboom. Na enkele meters bergafwaarts bereikt u het Straßberghaus in een idyllische dalketel van de Mieminger keten.
