The route starts at the hikers’ car park and leads east along on a well-signposted forest road that climbs continuously uphill towards the Straßberghaus alpine guesthouse. After a few minutes, you pass the Sagkapelle chapel hidden in the woods. From there, the route continues up through the pine forest. When you get to the top, pass through the barriers and walk downhill for a few metres until you reach the Straßberghaus alpine guesthouse, which is located in an idyllic alpine basin in the Mieming Range.

Forecast

High pressure has declined to such an extent that turbulence will be able to penetrate into our region. These disturbances are going to be so weak, however, that they will only bring clouds and no showers.

Tendency

Sunday and Monday will probably be quite unstable and it will be colder.

On Tuesday, a new high pressure area will dominate the weather. It will bring us sunshine and fairly mild temperatures, particularly on the mountains.
