Tiroler Volksschauspiele Telfs
The theatre festival has been attracting theatre fans to Telfs in Tyrol every summer since 1982. From classic productions to world premieres, the annually changing programme guarantees a unique experience. The centrepiece of this year's festival is the new main play ‘Romeo & Juliet’ - Shakespeare's tragedy will be restaged as a spectacular circus show with many young talents. The successful star-studded production of Heinrich von Kleist's comedy ‘The Broken Jug’ will also be staged again in 2025. In ‘A Brief History of Tyrolean Humanity in Eight Pictures and a Grail’, nine folk theatre productions will play for their lives this year. In addition to these major productions, the festival summer is rounded off by a varied supporting programme.
