The World’s Elite in Kühtai
From 6 to 21 March 2027, one of the biggest winter sports events of the coming years will take place with the FIS Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski World Championships. The competitions will be held in Montafon and Kühtai – and Kühtai will be all about the halfpipe events.
The halfpipe event in Kühtai will take place from 6 to 9 March 2027.
The halfpipe competitions of the Freeski and Snowboard World Championships will bring the world’s international elite to Kühtai. The world’s best athletes will compete for World Championship medals in the spectacular halfpipe, delivering thrilling days of competition with breathtaking tricks, jumps and the highest level of precision.
Kühtai provides the perfect stage for this: its high-alpine location, impressive mountain scenery and many years of experience in winter sports make the venue a special setting for this international major event.
Behind this special event is a strong partnership: Innsbruck Tourismus together with the Kühtai-Sellraintal region, Bergbahnen Kühtai, the Austrian Ski Federation, as well as numerous other partners and dedicated volunteers are working together to make the World Championships in Kühtai possible.
The 2027 FIS Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski World Championships will therefore not only bring the world’s best winter sports athletes to Tyrol, but will also turn Kühtai into a meeting point for the international freestyle and snowboard scene for several days.
Kühtai looks forward to welcoming the world’s best halfpipe athletes!
