De Oberhofer Höhenweg voert van het Sellraintal in het Inntal. Er zijn twee startpunten mogelijk: de Zirmbachalm bij Kühtai of de parkeerplaats met bushalte tussen de lawinegalerijen op de doorgaande weg L13. U wandelt over een smal pad naar de Flaurlinger Scharte (kerf) op 2.400 meter. Aan de Inntalzijde gaat het tot aan de Oberhofer Melkalm op bijna 1.700 meter boven zeeniveau. Hier heeft u een fantastisch uitzicht in het dal. Let u echter wel op de tijd, want er zijn geen overnachtingsmogelijkheden. Vanaf de Oberhofer Melkalm volgt de afdaling naar het dorp Oberhofen.
De terugweg: het openbaar vervoer brengt u terug naar het uitgangspunt van de wandeling.
