Una variante del Camino de Santiago lleva desde hace algunos años de Stams o Oberstaufen por tres puertos de montaña: el puerto Fernpass, el antiguo puerto Gaichtpass y el puerto Jochpass. Primero, pero, hay que superar el collado Holzleitensattel en el altiplano de Mieming, la meta de todos los peregrinos.
El ascenso al altiplano lleva primero por un collado espectacular llamdo Mötzer Klamm. A lo lejos se divisa ya el castillo de Klamm, situado al final de esta pequeña y romántica garganta.
