Route naar het startpunt
Aan de noordkant van de grote parkeerplaats, bij het dalstation van de Hoadlbahn, leidt het pad eerst vlak langs het Axamer Schiklubhaus naar de Schafalm. Hier begint de klim naar de rodelbaan Pleisenhütte. Het eerste, korte stuk leidt eerst iets steiler omhoog naar de skipiste en vervolgens via een aangename helling en twee brede lussen door een stuk bos naar de Pleisenhütte vulgo Bärenhütte. De hut ligt direct in het skigebied bij het dalstation van de dubbele stoeltjeslift Pleisen en nodigt skiërs en rodelaars uit voor een gezellige stop. LET OP: De rodelbaan is alleen te voet bereikbaar en NIET met de liften van de Axamer Lizum Bergbahnen!
Bij zeer goede winterse omstandigheden met de beste sneeuwcondities tot in het dal, kan de selectieve rodelbaan door het Axamer Tal ook worden geprepareerd en de rodelbaan worden verlengd via de Schafalm kruising tot een totaal van 6 km naar het dorp Axams, Hoadlstraße bocht / Axamer Bach dam.
