Route naar het startpunt
De rodelbaan verloopt van de Rumer Alm naar de gratis wandelparkeerplaats "Natuurpark Karwendel" in Rum. Alternatief eindpunt is het Gasthof Canisiusbrünnl. Het uitgangspunt voor de beklimming is gemakkelijk met het openbaar vervoer of met de auto bereikbaar. Wie met de bus reist, neemt de IVB-lijn A. Vanaf de wandelparkeerplaats Rum leidt de weg in ongeveer anderhalf uur naar boven tot de almhut. Start van de afdaling is de Rumer Alm op 1.243 meter boven zeeniveau. De rodelbaan gaat langs de Enzianhut en terug naar de parkeerplaats of naar Gasthof Canisiusbrünnl. Bij de Rumer Alm kunt u ook sleeën huren. Sneeuwcondities - conditie van de baan - inlichtingen. Rumer Alm: woensdag gesloten. Enzian hut: maandag gesloten.
