Route naar het startpunt
De wandeling begint bij de parkeerplaats Grünberg in Obsteig. Voorbij een houten schuurtje volgt u het verloop van de weg (een breed bospad) een stuk langs de vroegere skipiste. Wandelaars bereiken na ongeveer een uur wandeltijd de Zwischensimmering. Hier volgt u rechts de borden "Simmeringalm“ en u volgt het bospad. Vanaf hier is het nog één tot anderhalf uur tot de bestemming. Daar wacht een gezellige almstube.

U bereikt het beginpunt via het Inntal. Bij Telfs of Mötz rijdt u het Mieminger Plateau op en verder naar Obsteig. Een paar meter voor het einde van het dorp slaat u linksaf en volgt u de wegwijzers naar het dalstation van de Grünberglift. Bus 350 of 355 - halte "Obsteig Mooswaldsiedlung" (ca. 20 minuten lopen naar het beginpunt van de Grünberglift). www.vvt.at
