A forest road leads from the car park to the Straßberghaus mountain hut. Once you reach the hut, turn right and continue through the beautiful mixed forest along a winding track towards Niedere Munde. After a good hour's climb, you'll reach the highest point of the hike. From there, turn off to the left and follow the Hintereggensteig trail constantly downhill to the popular Neue Alplhütte mountain hut.
