There is a lot of competition for cool things to do in Innsbruck – I mean, just look at any of the other blogs HERE. New things are coming all the time, which make the already amazing Innsbruck even more fun to visit! The newest edition to the list of attractions is the FlipLab. Imagine, if you will, a huge facility with trampolines everywhere! It is a giant playground for any and all skill level or age group to enjoy!

You may have already seen advertisements for it online? Due to a few construction delays it only opened at the end of May, but it was worth the wait! Some friends and I went down to see if it lived up to the hype… oh buddy, yes it did.

Jump wall

There are different trick jump areas too, like this one to practice jumping up onto that wall… it took us a few times, but we got there!

FlipLab is the largest, most modern trampoline, parkour and freestyle park in Tyrol! There are 11 different zones: fun-Trampoline, interactive trampoline, bungee trampoline, advanced trampoline, high performance and olympic trampoline, wall walk, airbags, freestyle trampoline, air track, basketball, battle beam, slack line and so much more. Honestly, what more could you possibly ask for?!

Where is FlipLab Innsbruck?

jump from heights

There were several areas where you could jump into huge pillowy bags, which was nice knowing that if you tried a flip that didn’t quite make it, you’d have a soft landing spot.

Although FlipLab is not dead in the center of town, considering it is such a large facility, it could not be easier to get to!

It is located in Völs, just outside of Innsbruck city center: 1 min from the T bus line, and 5 min from the Völs train station. Or maybe if you’re feeling sporty, just hop on your bike – it is only a 20 min ride from the Innsbruck Marktplatz. If you choose to drive out there instead, not to worry, parking is free. And it is close by the shopping center if you want to combine the trip.

Edith Fall Bag

So much fun, jumping, bouncing, falling into the huge bags – then scrambling to the side, and running to jump again!

Jump Anytime!

They are open 365 days a year, so the fun never stops! Monday to Friday 14:00-21:00; Saturday and Holidays they open earlier, from 10:00- 21:00. And if you’re not sure what to do on a Sunday, they are open from 10am- 20pm too.

Passes are sold for jump times in 30 minute increments, but the longer you jump, the better the deal. But let me warn all the adults out there, 30 minutes doesn’t seem like a very long time, but I jumped for 30 minutes and it was exhausting. Granted all the kids around me didn’t seem to be fazed at all, but for me and my friends, 30 minutes was a long time! Time definitely flies when you’re at FlipLab.

Entry way FlipLab

When you first enter the jumping area, staff members put you through a light warm up, then you’re set free. But they were always there to help, they will even teach you how to backflip if you ask!

Fun for Everyone!

For adults and kids alike, all are welcome and all are guaranteed to have a blast! It’s huge, with 2000 sq. meters of fun over 11 different fun zones. Kids under 7 must be accompanied by an adult, but the upside is, that adult gets free entry. They offer group rates, school group sessions, they even sell gift certificates… I know what I’ll be gifting people! There really is no reason to stay away.

Obstacle Course

There was a Ninja Warrior obstacle course with a big red button that started and stopped a timer… the kids in front of me made it look easy… it was exhausting but so much fun!

So what are you waiting for, head over to Fliplab Innsbruck and get your bounce on!
