Detrás del refugio Pfaffenhofer Alm hay que seguir las indicaciones dirección a “Narrenkopf”. La ruta lleva primero por el camino a mano izquierda que sube hasta Karschwelle. Seguir las indicaciones y marcas hasta el final del valle glaciar, luego subir el camino a la derecha hasta llegar al paso de montaña, luego continuar por el camino a mano derecha hasta la cumbre Narrenkopf. En la cima hay dos cruces: las cruz original de Narrenkopf es la que está situada en la punta más alta de la cumbre.
