La ruta lleva del barrio de Schlotthof de Innsbruck por el camino Bildstöcklweg a la capilla Höttinger Bild Kapelle. El pequeño santuario está situado en un lugar idílico en medio del bosque e invita a un ratito de descanso y meditación. La ruta sigue por un agradable camino forestal bastante llano hasta el funicular Hungerburgbahn. Posibilidad de bajar a Innsbruck a pie o con el funicular.
Se puede bajar a Innsbruck a pie y pasar por el zoo alpino para una visita a este interesante lugar que alberga una gran variedad de animales autóctonos como osos, linces y aves rapaces.
