From Schlotthof in Innsbruck, this tour takes you via Bildstöcklweg to the chapel at Höttinger Bild. This small pilgrimage destination is situated in an idyliic forest, next to a bubbling spring. From here, it's along a relatively flat and pleasant forest path to Hungerburg. For those who don't wish to head into Innsbruck on foot, the Hungerburgbahn cable car will take you directly into the city centre.

An alternative would be by passing the city's alpine zoo (Alpenzoo), where a quick stop to view various animals sich as bears, lynxes and birds of prey is always worth doing.

Forecast

We will experience typical foehn weather conditions on Monday. The sky will be mostly bright with some mountain peaks being shrouded in “foehn fish clouds” (in technical jargon: “Altocumulus lenticularis”). The wind will be gusty at times and temperatures will of course be warm.

Tendency

Tomorrow we will see a mix of sunshine, clouds and showers. Thanks to the dry south wind, we will once again get several hours of sunshine and very mild temperatures on Wednesday.
