An easy hike from Innsbruck up to the Hungerburg district. First cross the River Inn on the Hans-Psenner-Steg bridge and then, on the opposite side of the road, follow signs for "Fußweg Alpenzoo / Heinrich-Süß-Weg". As soon as you have passed the Alpine Zoo, continue uphill along Wilhelm-Greil-Weg towards Hungerburg.
If you would rather not walk back, you can take the Hungerburgbahn funicular. It stops right in Innsbruck city centre.
