Entertainment, music and enjoyment
The entire festival was hosted by ORF Radio Tirol, which provided the best entertainment on the big stage with its program Musiktruch’n. Well-known artists such as Petra Frey, Taketonic and Markus Gimbel also performed there and kept everyone in a good mood.
No culinary wish was left unfulfilled either: The baker Ruetz spoiled the guests with fresh snacks, there was Kiachl (=delicious deep-fried farmer's crumpets), crispy Hendl (=chicken) and sweet treats, perfect for the small or big hunger in between.
Fascinating air shows and spectacular moments
Of course, the air shows took center stage: glider aerobatics, double tows, sightseeing flights and the performances of the Flying Bulls amazed the visitors. My personal highlight, however, was the model airplane show, in which tiny machines whirled through the air with precision and skill, closely followed by the moment when the Eurofighter thundered across the sky at breathtaking speed, leaving the audience in awe.
