Friends, Fun and Sun. What more do you need?
I’ve been snowboarding for over 20 years now (I know, I’m that old!) and although a nice powder day is always going to be the ultimate rush for me there is still something about lapping the terrain park with your friends on a sunny day that can’t be beat.
Just 30 minutes drive from Innsbruck the new “golden roof park” located in the famous Axamer Lizum ski resort has all the freestyle skiers and snowboarders in the region talking.
Although advanced riders and skiers will still be able to have fun and push their limits on the rails, the park is generally aimed a little more towards the beginner and intermediate riders and skiers with a nice mix of jumps and rail features that can all be ridden in one run.
It will be sure to have you high-fiving your mates in no time.

Park Location.
Located in a nice area next to the Karleiten four seater chairlift with views towards Innsbruck, one of the advantages of this position is the east-west direction of the park, so if the sun is shining, the park will be in the sun all day, which is nice for those warm spring days.

Situated right next to the terrain park is the Sunnalm bar and restaurant, a perfect place to relax in the sun or if you want a to get a bite for lunch or a cold beer after a hard days riding.
