New Lifestyle Hotel in the Heart of Innsbruck
On May 11, Radisson RED Innsbruck officially opened its doors, marking an exciting new addition to Innsbruck's hotel landscape. Located in the heart of the RAIQA area, centrally positioned and just a few minutes’ walk from the train station and the Old Town, this international upscale lifestyle hotel brings a fresh and modern concept to Tyrol’s hospitality sector.
With 161 rooms, flexible meeting and event spaces, and a 24/7 fitness studio, the hotel offers excellent conditions for business travellers, conferences, and smaller events. The versatile spaces are particularly well suited for workshops, meetings, or creative formats. True to the Radisson RED brand, the focus is on informal service, modern technology, and open, communicative social spaces. The urban, design-driven concept creates a relaxed atmosphere that encourages exchange, new ideas, and effortless networking - offering clear value for both organisers and participants.
We are delighted to welcome this new hotel to Innsbruck and are confident that it will provide fresh momentum for the region’s congress and meeting landscape.
Olympiaworld focuses on Sustainability
The Olympiaworld Innsbruck has been awarded the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Locations. The certification covers the entire main site at Olympiastraße 10, including the Olympiahalle, TIWAG Arena, sports bar, and outdoor ice rink.
This recognition confirms the venue’s consistent commitment to sustainable event management. Key priorities include energy-efficient operations, responsible use of resources, and environmentally friendly mobility solutions.
For event organizers, this provides a reliable foundation for planning and delivering green meetings and sustainable events. At the same time, the certification further strengthens Innsbruck’s position as a forward-looking congress destination with a clear focus on sustainability.
