Innsbruck–Seefeld–Tyrol DEAFLYMPICS 2027
The Winter Deaflympics 2027 mark a special comeback: after almost 80 years, the world’s most important winter sports event for elite deaf athletes – first held in Seefeld in 1949 – returns to its place of origin.
Together with Innsbruck, host of the Olympic Winter Games in 1964 and 1976, the region continues its strong Olympic tradition. In 2027, top athletic performances, international exchange, and inclusion will once again take center stage.
For visitors, Innsbruck offers attractive Family & Friends packages which will make a stay around the competitions particularly memorable. Of course, they can be combined with a holiday in the Innsbruck region as well.
The Welcome Card is already included. It is available free of charge for stays of two nights or longer and includes numerous discounts as well as the use of public local transport in the region.
In addition, further options can be booked for an extra charge. The Innsbruck Card includes free admission to many attractions as well as the use of selected mountain lifts and public transport within the city area. The SKI plus CITY Pass combines skiing in twelve ski areas in the Innsbruck region and the Stubai Valley with a variety of urban experiences, including admission and mobility services.
