Wandeling Akademikersteig (Academicuspad) naar Birgitz - regio Innsbruck

Het Akademikersteig is een gemakkelijk begaanbaar bospad, dat in circa 45 minuten van Götzens naar Birgitz voert. In Götzens vertakt het pad onderaan de supermarkt M-Preis en biedt in het begin een mooi uitzicht op de burchtruïne Vellenberg. De bosweg eindigt in Birgitz op de weg, die dan rechtdoor naar het zuiden richting dorpscentrum leidt. Kort voordat u het bos verlaat, kunt u de afbuiging naar de archeologische plaats "Hohe Birga" volgen. U bereikt deze in ongeveer vijf minuten. Ook een bezoek waard: het Rätermuseum (archeologisch museum) in het dorpscentrum van Birgitz.
De route is ook in omgekeerde richting te bewandelen.
