You won't believe it, but this year the Easter Bunny made a small mistake. He actually made a mistake in the date and was already a little earlier on the road. He took a lot of trouble and hid the colorful eggs well. From 27 March to 5 April, little sleuths can go on an egg h unt in the indoor and outdoor areas of the Swarovski Crystal Worlds. We've already tested it and I can assure you it's worth it, because a little Easter surprise awaits at the end of the tour. The perfect holiday program for the whole family!

IN SEARCH OF EGGS IN THE CRYSTAL WORLDS

It's strange to see the parking lot in front of the Crystal Worlds so empty. Where usually buses line up and tourists from all over the world cavort, there is yawning emptiness - and on a Sunday. It reminds me that for the second year in a row, we'll be celebrating a slightly different Easter. But what have we learned from Monty Python: "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life". And fewer visitors also have advantages (for us), no long waiting times for example.

At the ticket office, the children received their "treasure map". We adults got an audio guide, which has nothing to do with the treasure hunt, but is super handy if you want to learn more about the Crystal Worlds and the individual Chambers of Wonder. But to be honest, my husband and I barely got to use it. Our sons were too excited for us to focus on anything but the egg hunt. In all, the Easter Bunny hid 10 eggs. There are clues on the "treasure map" as to where to find the eggs. As soon as the children have discovered one, they have to enter the egg colour in the box provided.

EXPERIENCE WITH ALL SENSES

The first clue led us right into the belly of the giant - into the Chambers of Wonder. My husband, who had last been here about 15 years ago, was quite amazed at what had been done: "I'm beginning to understand why this attracts so many tourists." And he is right, the Swarovski Crystal Worlds are really worth seeing.

But not only worth SEEING: "Experience with all senses" is the motto. In addition to the acoustic sound experiences, a separate scent was created for each room. When I read this in advance, I was admittedly a bit skeptical. "How is this going to work with the FFP2 mask?" was my first thought. But the smells are intense enough and you can smell everything - even with FFP2 mask. I especially liked the "Silent Light" cabinet of curiosities. It's best to see for yourself, but I'll tell you this much: There are snow flurries in the middle of spring! It's fascinating, but I'm still glad that the sun is shining outside and we're slowly but surely leaving the cold season behind us.

SPRING AT LAST

The Easter bunny hid most of the eggs in the garden. The sun was shining in our faces, the trees were starting to bloom, crocuses were poking their little heads out of the ground, birds were chirping, kids were flitting around excitedly looking for colorful eggs. It sounds a little cheesy, but that's what Easter feels like to me. My family and I had a wonderful day at Swarovski Crystal Worlds. I can only recommend that you also stop by and go on an egg hunt.

Never before have we needed a fresh start as much as after this year, and that's exactly what spring and Easter symbolize for me - a fresh start. Even if it will not be as usual again this year, we will enjoy Easter to the fullest. I wish you all a beautiful, blessed and above all healthy celebration!
