De lokale berg van Innsbruck, de Patscherkofel, biedt talloze mogelijkheden om in de winter van de sneeuw te genieten. Er is een bewegwijzerde panoramische sneeuwschoentocht naar de top, toerskiroutes over fantastische pistes en zeven almhutten, lodges en bergrestaurants. De loungeruimte op de top biedt ook een bijzonder uitzicht. Het dalstation in Innsbruck-Igls is bereikbaar met de stadsbus (linie J).
