Two small but nice tours near Innsbruck
You are in stress? Have only little time, but still want to enjoy the nature around Innsbruck? And have a small mountain experience that does not take much time. Then the following tours are just right for you. Whether after work, on the day of arrival or departure, with the family or alone. The two short hiking tips are ideal for this.
Hiking tip 1: Recreation in the direction of Hungerburg
This tour starts in the center of Innsbruck. The best way to get to the starting point is by bike or public transport. You start from the Hans-Psenner-Steg over the wooden bridge, which offers you a wonderful view of the Inn bridge of the Hungerburgbahn

Then follow the forest road in the direction of Judenbühel. On the way there is a small stream that invites you to splash around in the water with your children. Above it, the imposing Hungerburgbahn cable car runs. Follow the signs to the Judenbühel. At the top, a wonderful playground with a view over Innsbruck invites you to linger. Ideal to let off steam for the little ones, great to enjoy the view and a wonderful little impression of hiking around Innsbruck.

Afterwards there are several routes that lead to Hungerburg. On hot summer days I recommend the path through the forest and on rainy days you better use the forest road.
The walking time from the Saggen district (starting point) to the Hungerburg is about one hour. On the way you will see the beautiful Hungerburg train stations along the way, they were designed by the world famous architect Zaha Hadid. This ideal family tour rewards you at the end with a wonderful view of Innsbruck.

Hiking tip 2: Relaxed round the heart lake
This tour starts at the Herzsee a little south of Innsbruck, where parking is also available. Follow the signs along the forest road, which brings you back to the Herzsee via a short climb
On the circular route, numerous "Bankerln" invite you to enjoy nature and relax. There you can experience an unforgettable sunset with a view of Innsbruck. This tour is especially recommended with your four-legged friend.
