5Rhythms - Free dance and movement meditation

The 5Rhythms are a movement practice that engages mindfully and joyfully with the flow and change of energy, both in dance and in our lives. They reconnect us with the wisdom of our body and release the dynamic healing power of movement. The 5Rhythms are a form of "Conscious Dance" and were developed by the New Yorker Gabrielle Roth. They have since become an international movement. We distinguish between five different qualities of rhythm and movement which, when danced in sequence, resemble the natural structure of a wave that gathers, rises, breaks, surges and fades out. In the dance of these waves there are countless facets to recognise, rediscover and rediscover ourselves. We change in a magical way. When we dance, we become more alive, more expansive, more present, more grounded, more inwardly tidy, clearer. And happier. There is probably no other meditation that can bring as much joy and fun as 5RhythmsDance, in addition to presence, breathing and inner realisation. Come and dance! You are welcome to come as you are, whether you are a long-term enthusiast or still green underfoot. The Open Wave is open to everyone, regardless of 5Rhythms experience, fitness level, age and current state of mind. It is suitable for getting to know the 5 Rhythms and, above all, for deepening your own dance practice and meeting yourself and others in movement.
