JUNGE MALEREI: Melanie Thöni & Dorothea Stampfl

In a newly conceived exhibition series in our M2 gallery, we present high-quality young, not yet established art. This format offers a professional platform within the gallery structure and the opportunity for visitors to discover the potential of local artists at an early stage. The exhibition JUNGE MALEREI shows work by young Tyrolean artists Melanie Thöni and Dorothea Stampfl. Both work in the field of representational, mostly figurative painting, with high standards of content and quality in their realization. Melanie Thöni's painting reflects the influence of her Tyrolean homeland - which she questions and transforms into contemporary reinterpretations in her own colorful and vibrant visual language. Dorothea Stampfl's theme is again people and their body(image). She seeks the expression of personality and the captured situation, with corresponding free spaces within the picture format, and thus also depicts interpersonal relationships.
