From 3 May to 27 October 2024, you can simply choose an experience based on what you’re in the mood for that day thanks to the Guided Active Programme: whether an idyllic hike or a fantastic e-bike tour – discover the boundless diversity of the Innsbruck region with the Welcome Card. You will receive the Welcome Card for free with a stay of at least 2 nights at selected partner hotels and accommodation providers.

Our guides know the routes like the back of their hands and accompany you with lots of exciting stories. And the best part: the tours are free with the Welcome Card. Please note, it is essential to register or cancel well in advance to ensure everyone can enjoy a well-prepared tour.

Good to know:

  • Participation is free with the Welcome Card. Other expenses (lift passes, refreshments) to be paid by the participant
  • Important: bring your Welcome Card & show it before the start of the tour
  • For tours for sporty explorers, surefootedness and a good level of fitness are required
  • Minimum age of 15 for e-bike tours
  • Participants are responsible for getting to the tour meeting point. Our tip: public transport is free in the Innsbruck region with the Welcome Card
  • Last-minute changes and cancellations may occur at any time due to weather
  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible
  • No dogs allowed on tours

Equipment for hikes

For families and leisurely beginners:

  • Weatherproof clothing suitable for the temperature & rain protection
  • Day pack with sun protection (incl. sunglasses and hat)
  • Food and drinks for the road
  • Light hiking or trekking shoes

For sporty explorers:

  • As above, but sturdy hiking boots with treaded rubber soles
  • Please note, the guide cannot allow you to join the tour if your footwear is unsuitable

  • Weatherproof clothing
  • Sun protection
  • Food and drinks for the road
  • Helmets are mandatory on all tours
  • Wearing gloves is recommended
