Innsbruckathlon - Beat the City
This year's Innsbruckathlon features the legendary 10+ kilometre and the new 5+ kilometre course. In both cases, the individual stages demand a great deal of physical strength, coordination skills and ambition from the participants. On what is probably the toughest sightseeing tour in the world, the teams tackle exhausting hurdles as they battle their way past the Golden Roof, up the Bergisel and back into the city with the Nordkette mountain range in view. Whether you are an ambitious frequent runner or an enthusiastic amateur athlete, the different starting blocks mean that every fitness level is welcome. Young athletes are also catered for: the Junior Innsbruckathlon features 11 obstacles over almost 2 kilometres.
