World Mountain and Trail Running Championships 2023
The 2nd World Mountain and Trail Running Championships, or WMTRC for short, will take place from 6 to 10 June 2023 in Innsbruck-Stubai. The event is the highlight of a 10-day festival that starts with the Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival on 1 June 2023. Athletes from all over the world will compete for medals in four competitions – Vertical Uphill, Trail Short, Trail Long and Mountain Classic – on varied and challenging routes. An extensive supporting programme and an expo featuring well-known exhibitors will round off the World Championship experience.
