Located just outside Innsbruck at the foot of the Vital Park Patscherkofel mountain, the sun-drenched Igls Plateau has a unique character – young, modern, distinctive. The ‘pay & play’ concept of the Olympia Golf Course means that visitors are welcome to play on the immaculate fairways and greens without admission fees and without club membership – all that’s required is a handicap of 54 or lower.

Owing to its close proximity to Innsbruck, the golf course is quick and easy to reach and the 1.4 kilometres over 9 holes enables players to complete a round in about 1 ½ hours. With tricky par 3 holes and challenging par 4 holes, the course is ideal for experienced players and novices alike.

Boasting a wide spectrum of practice facilities, the spacious driving range – with 40 teeing areas, some covered, single-tiered and equipped with track tee dividers – offers ideal conditions for newcomers to the sport to take their first golfing steps, or for more experienced players to improve their skills under the expert guidance of a professional instructor.

The fully qualified PGA pros offer courses to attain the ‘Platzreife’ licence, advanced training courses and lessons for children. A particular highlight are the VIP courses, the hours of which can be individually tailored to suit clients’ needs and wishes and which, with a maximum of just two participants, ensure maximum progress.

For players who already have golfing experience, the pros offer lessons and fitting sessions with a launch monitor.
