Nature Experience Trail Rum - Experience and feel the wonder of nature at 16 stations.
Under the motto "Experience, feel, enjoy nature", the wonder of nature can be experienced at 16 stations. The trail begins in the Roman Park and continues along the Elderberry Trail to the forest playground.
Whether the "Archimedes' screw" in the Roman Park, the "optical phenomena" on the Elderberry Trail, the "wooden xylophone", the "balancing platform" or the "ear trumpet" - everywhere along this trail, visitors have the opportunity to rediscover their perception of and in nature.
The Rum Adventure Trail is located on the edge of the "Karwendel Nature Park", which is the largest protected area for nature in Austria after the Hohe Tauern National Park.
A little above the centre of the village of Rum, near the Canisiusbrünnl inn, there is a free car park which is also the starting point for numerous hikes. Right next to it is the adventure forest playground, the nature trail, the forestry mile and the barefoot parcous opened in 2008.
