Attractive circular hike in the Axamer Lizum to the Birgitzer Alm with a magnificent view.

The tour starts at the Axamer Lizum car park. Past the Birgitzköpfllift valley station, the trail leads along the edge of the forest in the direction of the Birgitzeralm (signposted Butterbründlsteig) through the forest, always climbing gently to the Birgitzer Alm (1,808m). Continue in a southerly direction up to the Birgitzköpfllift mountain station at 2,098m. From here either take the Birgitzköpfllift down to the valley or continue in a southerly direction, slightly descending to Halsl (1992m) and return via the Halslsteig trail to the Axamer Lizum car park - walking time: approx. 3.5 hHm
