Starting at Arzkasten car park, take the steep Alpsteig path to the Marienbergalm mountain hut. From there, follow the gravel path towards Marienbergjoch. Just below the Marienbergjoch ridge, a trail leads west towards the Handschuhspitze. You need to be sure-footed for this steep alpine path, which crosses scree fields and leads up the mountain to the summit. The views from the top are fantastic.
