This hike starts in Axams by the Axamer dam (end of the toboggan run in winter) and leads south towards Axamer Lizum. Halfway along the route, at the bridge over the Axamer Bach stream, you'll come to a turnoff (yellow sign) onto a narrow trail that leads to the Gasthof Adelshof guesthouse.

Return hike:

Option 1: follow the same route back to the starting point at the dam.

Option 2: take the steeper but shorter route via Osterberg (Veitl) to Axams.

Option 3: travel back down in comfort on the "Postbus" (bus route 4162, hourly according to the timetable, free with a guest card) from the bus stop located right at the Adelshof.

Forecast

High pressure has declined to such an extent that turbulence will be able to penetrate into our region. These disturbances are going to be so weak, however, that they will only bring clouds and no showers.

Tendency

Sunday and Monday will probably be quite unstable and it will be colder.

On Tuesday, a new high pressure area will dominate the weather. It will bring us sunshine and fairly mild temperatures, particularly on the mountains.

The high pressure area will probably persist until Friday.
