The panoramic tour starts at the Tirol Panorama car park and leads south along a shady hiking trail. The first highlight is the Drachenfelsen viewing platform, which is located below the famous Bergisel ski jump stadium. From here you have a spectacular view of the Sill Gorge - a real photo opportunity!

The trail continues around the Bergisel, always with marvellous views of the Sill, the Wipptal valley and the Brenner main road. A short stretch takes you north past the charming houses until you walk right past the entrance to the impressive Bergisel ski jump.

Finally, the small park around the Andreas Hofer statue - a symbol of Tyrol's history and the resistance fighter Andreas Hofer - awaits you. Here you can pause for a moment and honour the historical significance of this place.

Refreshment stops: After the hike, you can enjoy the view and the culinary variety at Bergisel Sky or Restaurant 1809. Both offer not only delicious food, but also a marvellous view of Innsbruck and the surrounding mountains.

Tip: Combine this hike with a visit to the Tirol Panorama Museum or the Bergisel Stadium to experience both the impressive nature and the exciting history of the region.
