The Silz Mill
The mill in Silz was reopened after 50 years of inactivity. Every first Saturday of the month (from April to December), the mill offers bread-baking days and the opportunity to buy different types of bread. The Silz potato bread is a particular speciality and is produced using grain and potatoes grown in Silz.
You can get interesting insights into the history of the Silz village mill on guided tour of the Mill Museum (available on request). A mill festival is held every year in summer to celebrate the fact that the Silz Mill still exists today.
