Route to start
This walk starts at the Obsteig Municipal Office and heads north into the forest. From here, it follows the winding Sonnenplateau circuit to Arzkasten, before continuing to Weisland and Aschland. Return is via Holzleiten. Simply follow the signs for Arzkasten/Obsteig, and wander through the larch meadows and past the farm. This route passes through the Mooswaldsiedlung and Obsteig back to the starting point.
Arrival, public transport
You can get to the starting point via the Inn Valley. From Telfs or Mötz, drive up to the Mieming Plateau and continue to the village of Obsteig. There, you can park in the free car park behind the town hall / tourist information office. Postbus no. 4176: exit the bus at "Obsteig Gemeindeamt" www.vvt.at
