Route to start
This walk goes from the Lehnbach car park and down to the Josefskapelle chapel. from here, follow the signs for the golf course and Wildermieming. At the golf course, a path goes through the forest and up to Stöttlalm alpine hut, which you should reach after 35 minutes. Descent is via a well-timbered path via the signs for Obermieming. When the snow is sufficient, this trail is great for tobogganing. The route takes you back to the car park.
Arrival, public transport
You can get to the starting point via the Inn Valley. From Telfs or Mötz, drive up to the village of Obermieming on the Mieming Plateau. Then follow the signs to Hotel Schwarz, turn left at the fork in the road and continue to Lehnbach car park. Postbus no. 4176: exit the bus at the stop "Mieming Gh Post" (an approx. 15-minute walk from the starting point at Lehnbach car park) www.vvt.at
