La ruta empieza en la carretera forestal situada en el lado este de Zirl y lleva a Zirler Mähdern y a la capilla en Hörbstenboden. Tomar el desvío dirección Kirchbergalm y continuar por un agradable camino forestal hasta el refugio Neue Magdeburger Hütte.
