Tomar el camino del cementerio y luego el camino rural dirección nordeste hasta un cruce de caminos y allí seguir el camino Leitlweg a Thaur. Siguiendo las diferentes estaciones del camino del Calvario la ruta sube hasta la pequeña iglesia Romediuskirchl y la cabaña del ermitaño (cerrada). Descenso por el lado norte de la iglesia por Kaponssiedlung, Thaur y regreso a Rum.
Durante esta excursión los senderistas tienen la oportunidad de conocer el auténtico encanto de los pueblos de los alrededores de Innsbruck.
